MINETTO, NY – Megan Gibbons, youth marketing director for the American Heart Association, visited Minetto Elementary School to thank the students for their generous donation as the result of the “Jump Rope for Heart†project.
Minetto was the number one fundraising school in Oswego County and raised more than $4,900.
First grader Madeline Loomis (center) was the top individual fundraiser and proudly displays her medal while physical education teacher Don Fronk proudly holds the award from the American Heart Association.
The donation from Minetto will go toward heart research and youth marketing materials to keep kids healthy.
The school can also earn physical education equipment.
