Heavy Equipment Students Learn from Professionals in the Field

The NYS Department of Transportation recently visited students in Oswego County BOCES Heavy Equipment Repair and Operation program to explain job opportunities with the state, and to stress the importance of safety and proper usage of four different pieces of training equipment.

The DOT brought with them a detach trailer, used to haul equipment, to demonstrate the correct way to load and chain down equipment to meet DOT regulations.
