Helping First Responders on 9/11 – and every day

First responders put their lives on the line for ordinary citizens. Many of them died on 9/11, and many of them have died or become extremely sick from their actions in and around Ground Zero. We owe them something we can never repay. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try. Speaking of repaying first responders. . .

As many of you know, Moyers Corners Fired Department has been collecting returnable units at their locations for processing here at Can Make Money Redemption. Here’s one of their fans, Amy S., dropping off her latest bag of bottles and cans.

“My husband and I have a long association with the local fire departments. We’re both health professionals, and know what it takes to help others day in and day out.”

Amy says that when MCFD put out their collection bin, it made it a lot easier to contribute. “We live halfway between CMMR and MCFD. Now I can drop off a bag of cans whenever I’m out running errands. It makes it so much easier to donate.”
