The Heritage Foundation of Oswego County (HFOC) will hold its annual meeting and reception, hosted by the Mexico Historical Society, on Wednesday, February 19 at 6 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be at the Starr Clark Tin Shop, 3250 Main Street in Mexico, New York.
There will be a short presentation on recent and planned projects and activities of the HFOC, along with the election of new officers and board members. In addition, Jim Hotchkiss of the Mexico Historical Society will give tours of the Starr Clark Tin Shop and the Chandler-Ames 1855 Bank Building, two of that organization’s museums. Light refreshments will be served.
The non-profit HFOC, founded in 1962, is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Oswego County’s historic and architectural resources. For more information, please call 315-342-3354 or visit the group’s Facebook page (@oswegoheritagefoundation).
