History Returns To Fulton With A Time Traveling Twist 

FULTON – The Fulton Living History Tour returns this September with an unprecedented—and hilarious—journey through the city’s past, combining theater, dance, comedy, music and special effects to bring Fulton’s history to life.

This year’s tour takes an unexpected turn when the Fulton Ice Arena is transformed into a fully operational Time Machine. 

“The Time Machine has altered the fabric of time—and we must find Mrs. Pratt!” says writer and director Nicholas Gentile. “Audiences should be warned that there are certain perils involved when tampering with the fabric of the fourth dimension.” 

According to Gentile, the Fulton Block Builders have been working closely with Parks and Recreation to ensure that the Time Machine is properly equipped for the adventure. 

Gentile is no stranger to creating history-themed entertainment. He co-wrote and directed the musical comedy The 1812 Underture at Historic Fort Ontario with Sarah Galvin, the tour’s co-writer and co-producer, and KT Donovan, who is also featured in this year’s tour. Gentile also presented his original work about the moon landing, Space Race, at the CNY Arts Center. 

“What drew the Block Builders to the team of Nick and Sarah was their big ideas and their commitment to fun,” said Fulton Block Builders Founder Linda Eagan. “Our city has a fascinating history, and we want to present that history in a way that captivates local audiences.” 

And audiences can expect plenty of surprises along the way. 

“Lots of surprises and special effects,” Eagan promised. “The skirmish at Battle Island. A look into some of our famous baseball players. Did you know the curveball was invented in Voorhees Park? Oh, and a few of the giant animals that walked the earth here before humans—just to name a few.” 

The expanded Fulton Living History Tour will also provide an opportunity for local youth to learn more about their hometown. Fulton Junior High School students have been invited to attend the Monday performance, which will also be open to the general public. Neighbors Reshaping Fulton One Block at a Time 

The Fulton Living History Tour has become a highly anticipated annual event, offering residents and visitors an entertaining and interactive way to experience the people, places and stories that shaped Fulton. 

The Fulton Living History Tour will be held: 

• Sunday, September 20 at 12:30 p.m. 
• Monday, September 21 at 10:00 a.m.
