With the holiday shopping season coming in quickly girls from REVOLVE will be offering babysitter services. They will begin on BLACK FRIDAY. Girls will be available to baby sit Friday November 28, 2008 and every Saturday November 29th – December 20th. Girls will be at the Fulton First United Methodist Church located across from the Jr High. hours are 9:00 AM -3:00 PM, all children must be picked up by 3:00 PM. There is a charge for this service and all proceeds go to the Revolve Girls Group. For more information on this service call 592-7347 or 593-3863.
The revolve girls group was established in 2007 after many local teens girls traveled to Connecticut to connect with one another. Girls who attended the REVOLVE tour felt their lives were changed significantly and wanted others in the community to be offered this same opportunity. This group encourages girls age 13 -21 to realize their significance through a grace based message grounded in reality. The group strives to equip girls with the knowledge needed to reduce high risk behaviors. The girls who attend group meetings will experience speakers, be involved in community service projects, and have opportunity to attend fun and uplifting events.
The Revolve girls groups meets twice a month on the second and fourth Mondays. Topics have covered finding your faith, the truth about guys video, Camp Hollis Teen Challenge, Domestic Violence, pizza nights, game nights, date rape drugs, teen pregnancy, suicide/depression, eating disorders and more. Any girl between the ages of 13-21 are welcome to attend, the group meetings are filled with fun and fellowship while learning life changing skills.
