OSWEGO – The Art Association of Oswego is having their Holiday Show and Sale every weekend now through Dec. 18. AAO Board member Ron Throop is reminding the community to shop locally this Christmas season.
“Time is flying and before you know it the holidays will be here. Come out to the Art Association of Oswego for some good old fashioned holiday shopping! The AAO wants to give our community an opportunity to purchase handmade gifts by local artists at reasonable prices,” Throop said.
“Over 20 member-artists and craftspeople have their work on display throughout the galleries – really unique gift ideas; stocking stuffers that would be the envy of the North Pole. Strange paintings, beautiful paintings, intricate ceramics, watercolor greeting cards, calligraphy, sculpture, woodwork, ornaments [and] Santa gnomes! Get a double dose of that shopping dopamine rush by shopping small and staying local when you can. Open Saturdays and Sundays, 10 – 4 p.m. until December 18. Ho, ho, ho!”
AAO is located at 20 Barbara Donahue Drive, Building 30 in Oswego. Store hours are Sat./Sun. from 10 to 4:00 p.m. now through Dec. 18.
