OSWEGO, NY – The Hotcakes for Hospice breakfast buffet featuring the SUNY Oswego Laker Men’s Hockey Team with Coach Jon Whitelaw as servers, returns Sunday, Oct. 18 , it was announced by Donielle Dashnau, Friends of Hospice in Oswego County (FOHOC) executive director.
The event starts at 8:00 a.m. and tickets will be sold until 11:00 with breakfast served through Noon at the Oswego Elks lodge, 132 W. Fifth St. “Diners will have the opportunity to enter prize drawings‚—including a Lottery board—while they enjoy a delicious breakfast with the Lakers,” Dashnau said. “All proceeds will benefit our programs and the people we serve.”

Friends of Hospice in Oswego County is a volunteer organization that provides non-medical support for individuals facing limiting illnesses in Oswego County and the Camp Waves of Hope bereavement summer camp experience for children who are experiencing grief, Dashnau said. In addition, we recently introduced our Life Longings program, a new service for individuals facing life limiting illnesses, offering support by making comfort improvements, helping with milestone celebrations, or fulfilling ‘bucket list’ requests.
