FULTON, NY – Fulton Rotarian Margaret Barclay welcomed colleagues and guest speakers Inga Back and April Marks of Oswego County Opportunities, Inc.’s Health and Nutrition Services.

They spoke about the IMPACT Program (Initiative for Multi Sector Public Health Action) at a recent meeting.
A three-year federal grant from the CDC awarded through the New York State Department of Health year is funding the program to encourage and promote healthy lifestyles in the Fulton area.
The program is focusing on diabetes prevention, physical activity, and nutrition.
One effort with the city of Fulton and Fulton Footpaths encourages people to “walk the bridges,” a 1.8-mile route across the Oswego River over the Broadway and Oneida Street bridges.
Fulton Noon Rotary Club meets at noon Thursdays at the Tavern on the Lock Restaurant.
