IOOB Cornhole Tournament to Benefit OCO’s Cancer Services Program of the North Country

IOOB #1647 in Hannibal will host a Cornhole Tournament to benefit Oswego County Opportunities’ Cancer Services Program of the North Country. The tournament will be held October 17th at 1218 County Route 3 in Hannibal. Proceeds will support OCO’s Cancer Services Program and help cover the cost of clinical breast exams, mammograms and/or breast ultrasounds for uninsured women who otherwise may not be able to obtain screenings. FULTON – The Fairdale IOOB Club #1647 is inviting the community to take part in a Cornhole Tournament that will raise awareness for breast cancer and support Oswego County Opportunities’ Cancer Services Program of the North Country.

The Baggers IOOB Cornhole Tournament will be held October 17th at 1218 County Route 3 in Hannibal. The registration fee is $50 per team. Check-in begins at noon, with bags flying at 1:00 p.m.

“We’re thrilled that IOOB #1647 has chosen our program to benefit from this exciting event,” said Cancer Services Program Coordinator Carolyn Handville. “We look forward to partnering once again with IOOB #1647 to raise awareness of breast cancer and promote breast cancer screenings. It is rewarding to know that the vital cancer services we provide in our county are being recognized. We will be at the Cornhole Tournament to share information about the many free cancer screenings available through the Cancer Services Program.”

Organized by IOOB #1647 Bar Steward Roseanne Phillips, the Cornhole Tournament will feature an air mail contest, music, food, drink specials, a 50/50 raffle and additional drawings.
