In addition to the ride and food, door prizes and other giveaways will be handed out and snowmobiles will be available for viewing before and after the ride. The event will take place even if there is a lack of snow.

The ride will be governed by a permit from the New York State Department of Parks and Recreation.  Snowmobiles do not need to be registered but must be properly insured. Riders must wear helmets.

Northshore Vintage Sleds, a not-for-profit, partners with the Greater Central New York chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to raise awareness and collect donations to support suicide prevention. The event serves as a celebration of life for Matthew Bewick, a member of the Northshore Vintage Sleds.
