Kara Weiss Receives Paul Santore Award

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego County Legislature’s Human Services Committee recognized Kara Weiss with the 2014 “Paul Santore Award for Outstanding Youth.”

She is a member of the board of directors of the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau; the student/youth representative on the Oswego School Board and has participated in the Oswego City Youth Court Program for five years; completing more than 30 cases and more than 80 community service hours.

Weiss has distinguished herself as a youth leader and remarkable citizen in our community for her inspiring example of caring, commitment and dedication.
