OSWEGO, NY – Lisa A. Kimball has been named assistant vice president/internal auditor at Pathfinder Bank, according to Anita Austin, audit manager.
“We are very pleased to recognize Lisa with this promotion. She is an excellent member of this organization,†said Austin. “Her accounting background, and years of experience at Pathfinder Bank will greatly complement this new position.â€ÂÂ
Kimball’s duties as internal auditor will be to continue to evaluate compliance with bank policies and procedures, and to determine that internal controls provide adequate safeguards to ensure the safety and soundness of the bank.
The Internal Audit Department executes internal audits of various areas of the bank and communicates its findings to management and the audit committee of the board of directors to assist them in evaluating and furthering the quality and efficiency of operations.
Kimball began her career with Pathfinder Bank in 1998 as an assistant auditor; she was promoted to internal auditor in 2006.
She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
She resides with her husband and daughter in Oswego.
