HANNIBAL – Several Fairley Elementary School kindergarten students recently gathered with classmates and family members to celebrate their upcoming educational adventures.
Students explored their classrooms where they met their teacher, made new friends, learned about school expectations and then accompanied their family members to the cafeteria where everyone enjoyed an ice cream social.
Bus drivers also were on hand to let students practice buckling their seatbelts and properly exiting the bus.
The event was organized by Hannibal Home and School to welcome students and families to the district.
