Kingsford Park School Triathlon Results Announced

OSWEGO, NY – Kingsford Park Elementary School held its second annual triathlon on May 31. Fifty-two children participated in the event which included swimming, biking and running.

The triathlon was held at Oswego Middle School.

Medals were awarded to the top 3 finishers in each grade/gender category.

Medal winners in each category are as follows:

First and Second Grade Boys’ Division:

1st: Duncan Baker, 2nd: Parker Kaproski, 3rd: Louie Roman

First and Second Grade Girls’ Division:

1st: Raivyn Desantis, 2nd: Mackenzie Mulcahey, 3rd: Beverly Hourigan

Third and Fourth Grade Boys’ Division:

The event was sponsored by the KPS Home & School Association, with support and assistance from the city of Oswego Fire, Police and Traffic departments, Murdock’s Bicycles and Sports, Oswego Bagelry and Sandwich Shop, Oswego Sub Shop, Oswego Triathlon Club, Step One Creative, Tim Hortons, Wal-Mart and many parent, student and teacher volunteers and Oswego City School District staff.

Third and fourth grade girls’ division participants:  Clara Back, Sydney DeLapp, Mia Fierro, Erica Greene, Isabella Kaproski, Cheyenne Ketcham, Nikki Regan and Allison VanBrocklin.
