Kinney Drugs ‘Be a Santa for a Senior’ Project Shares Spirit of The Season with Bishop’s Commons Residents

OSWEGO – Kinney Drugs in Oswego is sharing the spirit of the holidays with the residents of Bishop’s Commons Enriched Housing Residence.

Oswego Kinney Drugs collected gifts as part of its “Be a Santa for a Senior” program, and donated them to Bishop’s Commons – helping to make sure residents find something special under the Christmas tree this season.

Kinney employees and customers left presents under a special Christmas tree located in the store, and Kinney Drugs delivered the presents to help create a memorable gift.

“On behalf of Bishop’s Commons thanks to our neighbors at Kinney Drugs for organizing this program, and thanks to everyone who stopped at Kinney Drugs Oswego and supported this special holiday effort,” said Lindsay Erskine, resident coordinator at Bishop’s Commons. “Our residents genuinely appreciate the gifts, and are glad to be remembered as an important part of this community especially at this time of year.”
