Kites Over Old Fort Ontario

OSWEGO, NY – Ontario Winds, in cooperation with the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, will present the sixth annual “Kites Over Fort Ontario” special event on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the grounds outside the old fort.

There will be kite exhibitions, refreshments, kite making, games, and candy drops.

Old Fort Ontario is located at the north end of East Fourth Street in the city of Oswego.

Admission to the fort is free during public hours from now until Oct. 31, Tuesday – Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Fort Ontario State Historic Site is one of six historic sites and 18 parks in the Central Region administered by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, Carol Ash – Commissioner.
