OSWEGO, NY – For the fifth year Rotary, Kiwanis and the rivers end book store have given each fourth grade student a new thesaurus.

The two service clubs all support literacy.
The joint efforts of the Kiwanis Club of Oswego, Oswego Rotary Club, Oswego Sunrise Rotary and the river’s end book store work with the Oswego City School District to equip each fourth grade student with a new thesaurus.
This project demonstrates the value of service clubs working together to improve their community.
The children love the new books and use them in their studies.
Representative of the service clubs and the superintendent of the school district gathered at the book store to receive the books.
The thesauruses will be delivered to the students on Thursday.
