KPS Home And School Awards Two Alums

OSWEGO, NY – Kingsford Park Home and School  hosted a community Polar Express Party last holiday season in support of KPS Alumni and their continuing education.

Two former KPS students received $500 scholarship awards from the KPS Home and School. Joining together for the presentation are Julie Chetney, KPS Home and School co-chair, Brian Walczak, Griffin Mervine and Lisa Roman, KPS Home and School co-chair.

This June, Oswego High School graduating seniors Griffin Mervine and Brian Walczak were awarded $500 each in scholarship dollars from the KPS Home and School at the recent OHS Awards Ceremony.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to assist these former KPS students in their future education,” noted KPS Home and School co-chair Lisa Roman.

Continuing she said, “The community support in December at the Polar Express party has allowed our Home and School to reward these students for their academic achievements.”

Mervine will be attending Binghamton University and Walczak will be attending Clarkson.

KPS Home and School has scheduled the 2010 Polar Express Party for Dec. 23 in Faust Theater at OHS to benefit 2011 graduating seniors. missing or outdated ad config
