OSWEGO – Michele Southgate will be creating one-of-a-kind bookmarks using gel pens and special artistic techniques for visitors to the Lakeside Artisans shop on Thursday, July 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. during the farmers’ market.
Her display is the latest of Lakeside Artisans’ popular art demonstration series during Oswego Farmers’ Market on Thursday evenings.
Visitors to the market on Thursday evenings are encouraged to stop into the Lakeside Artisans shop, take a look at the demonstrations, and see the shop’s selection of fine art and handcrafted gifts.
Southgate is a well-known local artist and one of the founding members of the Lakeside Artisans Cooperative.
Her watercolor paintings and multimedia creations are available at the shop in the Canal Commons at 191 W. First St.
