Lanigan Elementary distributed many awards at its sixth grade promotion ceremony.

In recognition of hard work, dedication and success, the NYS Comptroller Achievement Award was given to Katie Galletta and Sam May.
For their commitment, character and courage, the NYS Attorney General Triple “C” Award was received by Kyra Baker and Noah Horning.
The Terry Richardson Memorial Award honors the memory of Terry Richardson, and is given to students exemplifying the characteristics of a strong work ethic, compassion and care for their school.

This year’s award recipient was Jack Broderick.
The Jonas Dictionary Award was presented to Chloe Devendorf for being an outgoing sixth grader that shows a love of learning, a love of people and a love of their community.
Presented to one outstanding male and female of the sixth grade class, Katie Galletta and Ian Summerville received the George MacDonald Memorial Award.
