Several Lanigan Elementary students were recently honored during a school assembly because of their ability to control their emotions and expressions, particularly in difficult situations.
Having that self-control in their classrooms, special areas and hallways throughout the month of April earned them a certificate of recognition and thunderous applause as each of them was called to the front of the all-purpose room.
Awardees include sixth graders: Annie Bond, Elizabeth Parrish, Abigail Horning, Vincent Salerno and Colin Moon; fifth graders: Ryan McLoughlin, Josephine Regensburger, Landon Wakefield, Kayden Bartlett and Gabriella Mitchell; fourth graders: Michael Holmes, Mia Corradino, Allison Mainville, Hagan Strong, Mitchell Jacobs and Fynley Chapman; third graders: Madison Kane, Riley Thurlow, Addison Barrick, Brady Kunzwiler, Keonna Holmes and Robert Schneider; second graders: Arieana McDonald, Gabriella Ferrara, Corey Seymour and Ava Stenson; first graders: Andrew Sanders, Jett Drake, Cameron Trail, Alivia Rodriguez, Elainia Gilles, Kinleigh Weaver and Elizabeth Saba, as well as kindergartners: Molly Vant, Harlow Cole, Michael Baldwin, Kenlee Farrands, Eva Kraus, Giada Raponi and Devin Seymour.
Also honored with a special certificate were the following students who were recognized for being on a roll and making great strides toward their goals: Jamie Burdekin, Rebekah May and Jacob Atwater, William Baum, Andrew Mainville, Larry Prevo, Ada Dumouchel, Olivia Hendrickson, Veronica Demperio, Issaic Reed, Abby Spilman, Jimmy Menter, Teagan Kinsely, Griffin Shear, Maverick Bonnell, Ethan Faber, Brenden Bartlett, Kevin Menter, Rose Livingston, Elias Saba Jr. and Kendra Phillips.
