The Aug. 14 concert will feature the combined bands of Baldwinsville and Fulton.  Two of the marches performed will be Syracuse Post March and Greater Pittsburg March arranged by Phil Sterling, director of the Baldwinsville Community Band.  Other tunes will include “76 Trombones”, “God Bless America” and the music from the shows “Chicago” and “Phantom of the Opera”.

Fulton Community Band will finish their season with a program of big band music dedicated to the memory of former saxophonist with the band and retired dentist, Dr. Jack Carroll.  “Jack’s favorite tunes to play were always from the big band literature,” Fox said.  “This program will include music of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman.

“Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy these final performances of the summer by the Fulton Community Band.”
