FULTON – Fulton Shirts ‘N Skirts Square Dance Club is a modern western square dance club that was founded in 1954 as a social activity to promote square dancing and is still active in the square dance community today.

The club has more than 50 members and dance every Friday night at the Fulton Municipal Building.
During the year, the club supports several charity events such as a Toys For Tots collection, pet food/supply collections for local animal shelters at every Friday the 13th “Black Cat” dance and an annual ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) Association dance, which raised more than $3,500 this year.
The club also holds monthly special dances such as Pizza Night, Hotdog Roast, Ice Cream Social and Chili Night.
Shirts ‘N Skirts is forming its 2017-18 classes and is looking for new dancers.
There will be three free get acquainted dances held on September 15, 22 and 29 so new dancers can see first-hand what square dancing is all about and get more information on classes.
Come join us from 7-9 p.m. at the Fulton Municipal Building located at 141 S. First St., Fulton.
Dress is casual and free refreshments will be served.
Couples and singles are welcome.
Club members will fill out the squares to help with an introduction to some basic calls.
Classes, which run though June, will teach each dancer more than 70 basic and mainstream calls.
Hope to see you at the Dance!
