OSWEGO – Students at Oswego’s Leighton Elementary School were in for a Halloween treat recently, when they donned their Halloween costumes to enjoy a night of fun made possible by the school and C’s Farm.

The Spooky Snack Art event, which featured healthy food options such as a variety of vegetables and fruits, was a combined effort by the school and C’s Farm to promote health and wellness for families, as well as give students a chance to show off their costumes in school.

“This is the second year we’ve put on this event,” said Principal Stephanie Griffin. “Families get to make edible self-portraits out of fruits and vegetables, and the kids get a chance to dress up. C’s Farm donates all the food, and we’re so thankful for them!”
