A little bit of Bethlehem comes to Southwest Oswego on Saturday, December 11th. Southwest Oswego United Methodist Church will present their annual “Live Nativity” from 6 until 8 p.m. Church members of all ages will portray the Holy Family, angels and Wise Men. The outdoor event takes place in the shed and also features live animals.

Inside the sanctuary the annual “Nativities by Candlelight” will feature dozens of nativity sets on loan from church members and friends. Nativity sets of all sizes, from a scene within a walnut shell to a scene created with Legos, have been displayed in past events. Illuminated by candlelight, the walk through the sanctuary is memorable.
Once again this year the Tri-County Singers will present a cantata,”Christmas For All Time”, beginning at 6:30 in Fellowship Hall. The chorus is directed by Abel Searor and accompanied by Terry Pawlenko.
Cookies and cocoa will be served in Fellowship Hall throughout the evening.
