OSWEGO — Join us at the Oswego Public Library on Saturday, January 24, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM for an exciting presentation by local author Ed Griffin-Nolan. A reporter and columnist for Syracuse New Times for 14 years, and Family Times before that, Ed has hitchhiked all around the world, from Argentina to Iraq to Nicaragua.
In Griffin-Nolan’s book, Nobody Hitchhikes Anymore, he recounts his 2018 journey across the United States to understand why hitchhiking has died out. Nobody Hitchhikes Anymore is an “act of loving rebellion” (Sean Kirst, Buffalo News) and a travelogue about a changing society and the people who lifted him up.
Books will be available for purchase and signing.
The event will take place in the library’s community room on the lower level, located at 120 E 2nd Street, Oswego, NY 13126. This program is free and open to the public. For any questions, please call 315-341-5867 or email [email protected].
