Local Christian School To Host Open House

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Community Christian School, 400 E. Albany St., will be hosting an informational open house on March 2, from 7 – 9 p.m. for families interested in considering enrollment of their children, grades Pre-K through 8th, for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Visitors will have an opportunity to meet faculty and staff, review curriculum materials and tour the school facility.

Now looking forward to its 32nd year, O.C.C.S. is a well-established member of the educational community providing a stable emotional and spiritual environment for children while upholding a rigorous academic curriculum.

Academics are taught with a Christian world view along with spiritual and social values by caring teachers with degrees in elementary and secondary education.

In traditional classroom settings, students receive instruction following the New York State curriculum guidelines.

The well-rounded school program encompasses a school soccer team, cross-country ski club, yearbook club, chess club, and a student worship band.

Before and After Care are also available to enrollees.

Oswego Community Christian School is a non-denominational private school serving students from the area school districts of Oswego, Hannibal, Fulton, Mexico, and Phoenix, with transportation being provided by these school districts.
