OSWEGO – The Oswego Trinity United Methodist Church (UMC) welcomes everyone to special April events.
Palm Sunday, April 2, worship and church school is at 10 a.m. The free will dinner including French toast, pancakes, sausage and orange juice is from 4:30 till 5:30 p.m., or until sold out.
The Maundy Thursday service, April 6, is at Journey of Faith UMC, 7721 State Route 104 West, Oswego at 7 p.m.
Good Friday, April 7, Trinity UMC invites children ages 5-12 for a day of fun, faith, and fellowship from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is FREE and lunch will be served. Explore Holy Week and Easter with videos from the “Celebrate Wonder” curriculum, along with crafts, games, discussion, and snacks. Please pre-register with LaDonna Tucker, by emailing [email protected], by April 1. Church may have to cancel if participation is too low, so please be sure to pre-register by Sunday, April 1.Good Friday evening church service at Trinity UMC will begin at 7 p.m.
Easter, April 9, worship and church school will begin at 10 a.m.
The church Nu-2-U and Bake Sale is planned for April 21 and 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a wide variety of items for sale; something for everyone. The sale (without baked goods) continues April 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and April 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Bag Sale starts at 9 a.m. April 29. A portion of the proceeds will be used to purchase socks and other necessary clothing for local elementary age students. Anyone wishing to donate may bring the items starting April 17 to the church from 9 a.m. to noon or call the church for arrangements. Please use the East Utica entrance as the sale is downstairs.
