FULTON, NY – Resource Development Director for the United Way of Greater Oswego County, Lois Luber has announced that Burritt Motors has joined major plus sponsors, Constellation Energy Nuclear Group Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station and Entergy, and major sponsors, National Grid and Novelis, in lending its support to the United Way’s 15th annual Golf Classic.

“We are fortunate to have these fine companies as our sponsors. Their support helps us to keep this exciting event affordable and allows us to continue to offer participants an outstanding day of golf with all the amenities they have come to expect from one of the largest golf tournaments in Oswego County. With our entry fee being the same as last year, the United Way Golf Classic is a great value for a good cause!†said Luber.
Participants in the classic receive a continental breakfast, a United Way Golf Classic golf shirt, golf cart, 18 holes of golf, lunch, beverages on the course, and a steak dinner buffet following the tournament.
There will also be plenty of giveaways and prizes, with each golfer being eligible for, longest drive and closest to the pin prizes.
Interested golfers will also have the opportunity to sign up for the skins contest.
Entry fees are still just $100 per person or $400 per team.
Luber added the Capture Action Video will also be included as part of the registration fee.
The Capture Action Video, which debuted at last year’s tournament, will film each golfer’s swing during the tournament.
The video will be sent to the registered golfer via e-mail the following week so golfers can see their swing matched against their choice of professional golfers.
The video will show both swings simultaneously so they compare their swing to the professional.
Scheduled for July 9, the classic will be held at Greenview Country Club in West Monroe.
