OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego County Autism Task Force announced local student Morganne Atutis, OHS Class of 2008 as the winner of its graphic art design logo contest.
Morganne submitted her design in the spring of her senior year and her work was chosen from several entries to be the OCATF official logo.
“We are very pleased with the work that Morganne has done and her professionalism and expertise though the entire process made it a pleasure for our task force to work with her,” noted OCATF Chair, Julie Chetney.
The logo is an outline of Oswego County with various colored puzzle pieces making up the inside.
“The puzzle piece has become a widely used symbol for Autism across the nation as the neurological disorder that often presents in a variety of ways with numerous treatments. With that, it has been compared to a puzzle with many pieces that don’t always fit just right,” Chetney added.
Morganne currently attends RIT and is majoring in Photography and Graphic Design.
She is the daughter of Karen and Michael Atutis of Oswego.
The Oswego County Autism Task Force seeks to provide information that enhances the lives of those touched by Autism Spectrum Disorder in Oswego County.
