Lura Sharp Elementary Hosts Bike Rodeo

PULASKI, NY – Students at Pulaski’s Lura Sharp Elementary recently learned the importance of bicycle safety during the school’s Bike Rodeo event.

The Oswego County Health Department donated helmets for students to take home, in addition to members of the Traffic Safety Council teaching students about bike safety. Students learned about how to ride a bike, how to properly wear a helmet, how to observe road signs, and much more.

Once students had their helmets on, they were able to ride around a special course that was created to test their newly-learned skills.
