MINETTO, NY – Come to Magic In Minetto by car or boat.
Free docking for visiting boats.
Canal Splash Day is Aug. 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It’s a fun festival oriented for families, located at Minetto’s River View Park and Town Hall.
Featured will be displays from the Historical Society, Fire Department and American Legion.
There will be live music, food and a bake sale as well as a free ice cream social for children, face painting, air hop and a petting zoo.
The Minetto Fire Department will have a chicken barbecue available.
A variety of vendors will display their crafts, ranging from custom jewelry to woodworking.
The Country Cruizers Car Club will exhibit its classic cars.
Free docking for visiting boats will be available.
A highlight of Magic will be a recreational canoe/kayak race, which will be held at 1 p.m.
