March Classes At Oswego Library Set

OSWEGO – Erin Lohnas will continue training in the use of the 3-D printer into March.

Because of this, there will be no classes or open lab times available on March 7.

Lohnas is hoping to begin doing workshops using the 3-D Printer during the summertime once she has become proficient in its use.

The Saturday class that will be offered this month is Navigating ancestry.com, due to several patrons requesting that it be held again at a more convenient time.

Here is the breakdown of all of the classes that will be offered in March:

? March 5 – Internet Basics (#4) (2-4 p.m.)
? March 12 – Introduction to Computers (#5) (10 a.m. – noon)
? March 12 – Internet Basics (#5) (2-4 p.m.)
? March 15 – Internal Components of the Computer (2-4 p.m.)
? March 20 – Advanced Kindle Fire Usage (2-4 p.m.)
? March 22 – Computer Tune-Up (2-4 p.m.)
? March 27 – Using Touchscreen Devices (2-4 p.m.)
? March 29 – Regular Computer Maintenance (2-4 p.m.)

Software Classes:
? March 1 – Using Overdrive (App/Website) (2-4 p.m.)
? March 19 – Microsoft Word (10 a.m. – noon)
o Microsoft Excel (2-4 p.m.)
? March 26 – Microsoft PowerPoint (10 am. – noon)
o Microsoft Publisher (2-4 p.m.)

Website Classes:
? March 6 – Navigating YouTube (2-4 p.m.)
? March 8 – Navigating Facebook (2-4 p.m.)
? March 13 – How to Use Search Engines (2-4 p.m.)
? March 14th – Navigating NCLS Online (2-4 p.m.)
? March 21 – Navigating Universal Class Online (2-4 p.m.)
? March 24 – Navigating ancestry.com (2-4 p.m.)
? March 28 – Navigating ArtistWorks Online (2-4 p.m.)

Tech Help Open Lab will be held on the following dates during the month of March:

? March 6, 13, 20 and 27
? March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29
? March 9 and 23.

The Library Learning Center is located on the lower level of the Oswego Public Library and is open Monday-Friday.

All programs are free and open to the public.
