Marching Buc Alumni To Convene

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers have a long string of accomplishments unmatched to any organization in the history of Oswego.

Plans are being made for the Marching Bucs Alumni Reunion and assisting in the efforts are Sandy King, band parent coordinator; Chris Castiglia, alumni reunion chair; Debbie Bartholomew, OHS Band Parents Association president; Sonia Robinson, Band Parents Association vice president and Pageant of Champions event chair.

Over the past three decades, thousands of students, teachers, and parents have dedicated countless hours to promote excellence in music education.

On Sept. 20, the Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the “Pageant of Champions” New York State Field Band Conference Competition at the Joseph R. Wilber Athletic Field.

To help celebrate the milestone, plans are under way for a Marching Buccaneer Alumni Reunion.

The reunion will be held on Sept. 19, from 7-11 p.m. at the American Foundry.

This will be a fun night of reconnecting with old friends and sharing band memories.

Marching Buccaneer photos and videos from the past will be on display as well.

All band alumni, band parent alumni, and friends of the Marching Buccaneers are invited to attend.
