Marching Buccaneers Close Season

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers brought the curtain down on “Asian Dances” at the Syracuse University Carrier Dome on Sunday night.

Oswego, who is one of only three bands to have competed in each of the 35 New York State Field Band Conference championships, marched with the elite bands of New York State.

The Bucs concluded the season with a score of 88.05 to finish seventh in the nine-band National Division.

West Genesee captured its 28th state title with a score of 96.55.

The crowd-pleasing Orchard Park band finished second with a 95.75.

Arlington was third at 94.90 followed by Liverpool 92.90, Victor 92.70, Cicero-North Syracuse 91.30, Oswego 88.05, Copiague 86.70 and Webster 85.65. missing or outdated ad config
