OSWEGO, NY – Sunday night the curtain comes down on “Asian Dances†as the Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers will complete the New York State Field Band Conference season.

The final Sunday night of October is traditionally the evening that draws all National Division bands to the Syracuse University Carrier Dome where a state champion will be crowned.
Arlington commences the National Division at 7:30 and will be followed by Oswego, West Genesee, Cicero-North Syracuse, Orchard Park, Copiague, Liverpool, Victor and Webster.
The evening competition will cap off a day-long event which commences at 8 a.m. with Small Class 3 and four other divisions will vie throughout the day and early evening.
This show is always one of the most emotional of the year for the veteran members of the various marching bands.
For the majority this will be the final performance of the year for the members of the “Class of 2009.â€ÂÂ
Oswego seniors include Chelsea Bartlett, Corrine Bartlett, Rebecca Battles, Cody Broekhuizen, Daniel Chetney, Stephanie Ciesla, Michelle Cigler, Carolyn Clemmens, Matthew Farden, John Patrick Feeney, Emily Fiorini, Christina Flynn, Thomas Graber, Megan Henry, Rachel Himes, Kristin Hoefer, Fred Johnson, Katie Kern, Sara Elizabeth Kray, Shanli LaTulip, Christine Mansfield, Fred Maxon, Alicia Patterson, Anastacia Pierce, Garrett Robinson, David Rollin, Gretchen Sackman, Adam Sweely and Jared Syrell.
Last Saturday night, the Marching Bucs finished third behind Liverpool and Cicero-North Syracuse at the Central Square New York State Field Band Conference competition.
