Marching Bucs Prep For BOA Competition

OSWEGO, NY – During the Columbus Day weekend the Oswego High School Marching Bucs will be in Michigan competing in the Bands of America Regional.

However, prior to departing for the trip “The Pride of Oswego” will compete at Central Square this Saturday night against Victor and Cicero-North Syracuse.

The annual Liverpool show commences at 5:30 p.m. with Marcus Whiteman and Corning East competing in Small School 3 followed by Union Endicott in Large School 3, Phoenix in Small School 2 while in Small School 1 vying will be East Irondequoit, Jordan-Elbridge, East Syracuse-Minoa, Norwich and Medina.

In the National Division Victor will take to the field at 7:52 p.m. followed by Cicero-North Syracuse and Oswego before an exhibition by the host school.

The show is being held at Central Square because the field in Liverpool can’t be used.

Last Saturday night, the Bucs earned their best score of the year with a 78.80 for a fourth-place finish behind Liverpool (83), Cicero-North Syracuse (82.35) and Victor (82.30 at the West Genesee competition.
