The Lake City Masonic Lodge No. 127 will sponsor its third Annual Massive Book Sale November 21 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., November 22 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., November 23 9 a.m. – 3.p.m at the large majestic hall located at 765 E. Seneca St., Oswego.
This event continues to grow in popularity and sales as quality items are offered for extremely low prices, often $1 for a hardcover book.
This huge massive sale will include: books, records, magazines, children’s books, hardcovers and paperback, CDs, DVDs, audio and more. Soup and sandwiches will be available for lunch all three days. Free coffee during the sale.
The lodge will also gladly accept any of the items mentioned above for donation to help with this event. Please call (315) 593-9966 to donate and arrange a time to drop-off, or email [email protected]. Pickup might also be arranged if needed.
Sponsored by the Oswego Masonic Lodge and its sister organization The Order of Eastern Star No. 205, they continually work to aid the local community, having raised funds for Pop Warner Football, the H. Lee White Marine Museum, Lady Bucs Softball Team, Local Cub Scouts, Local Cystic Fibrosis, SAF House, The Oswego July 4th annual parade, Masonic research lab, and many, many more.
Charities are a basic tenet of Freemasonry and across the United States Mason’s contribute over 2 Million Dollars per day to various charities.
The Oswego Masonic Hall is also now available for rental to the public at a very low price, and the monthly breakfast buffet every third Sunday of the month 8 a.m. to noon continues to delight and grow in attendance.
