Masons Plan Barbecue, Child ID Program

Submitted Article

OSWEGO, NY – The Masons will be holding two events during Harborfest.

They will conduct a Child ID program and chicken barbecue, right down the road from each other.

All the proceeds from the barbecue go to local charities, and there is no charge for your child to do the Child ID program.

It will be held Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the west side fire station on West First Street just up the road from the Maritime Museum.

The process takes only a few minutes per child.

It’s free service, and you leave with a disk of your child’s info to use in case of emergency.

The barbecue starts at 11 a.m. Thursday for lunch and goes all weekend.

They are open Thursday through Sunday, near the Marine Museum at the end of West First Street.

The dinners include a half chicken, beans, salt potatoes, and roll for $8.

Hot dogs and drinks also available for sale.
