Matinee Set For ‘Birdie’

FULTON – CNY Arts Center announces a Saturday matinee performance of Bye Bye Birdie, its summer family musical, to be held August 12 at 3 p.m.

The classic Broadway musical with a cast of more than 30 performers is performing at 11 River Glen Drive on the Cayuga College Campus.

In this scene, Conrad Birdie (Ben Borenstein) has an irresistible effect on the mayor’s wife and Mrs. Merkle (Jessie Dobrzynski and Brenda McAuslan) as the mayor and Mr. Maude look on in disgust (Brian Doolittle and Chuck Teska).

The production runs August 4-13 with August 4, 5 and 11 at 8 p.m. and August 6, 12 and 13 at 3 p.m.
