McClusky Gains Endorsement

Judge James McClusky was endorsed by the Oswego County Republican Committee at their annual meeting on Thursday night to fill the Supreme Court vacancy in Jefferson County.

Supreme Court Judges are elected by the voters in Oswego, Onondaga, Jefferson, Onieda, Lewis and Herkimer Counties. This year there are vacancies in seats traditionally held by Jefferson Onieda and Lewis Counties.

Judge McClusky a Jefferson County Attorney and Town of Watertown Judge has over 22 years of court room experience. In his work he has handled a variety of cases including over 25 jury trials and over 250 non jury trials and hearings. In addition to his offices in Jefferson County he also has offices in Lewis and Oswego County.

Mr. McClusky, who has practiced law since 1988, shares a private practice with his twin brother, Timothy M., in Adams. His late father, William J., was a Jefferson County district attorney and County Court judge.
