Mexico Brass Seeks New Members

Submitted article

Do you have a horn in your attic that you used to love to play?  With Christmas just around the corner, the Mexico Brass is recruiting new members as we start practicing for our upcoming Christmas concerts.

The Mexico Brass is a non-profit community brass band from Mexico, New York.  We practice at the First United Methodist Church on Monday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.  Our concert schedule varies with the season, and has included community events, nursing home entertainment, and moere.  We play music ranging from popular to marches to show tunes to classical pieces.

Our emphasis is on FUN and we frequently include audience participation and humorous antics into our performances.  We welcome brass players and former brass players of all ages and talent levels.  We encourage interested players to come and sit in with us during a rehearsal to see if they like what we do before deciding on whether or not to join.

For more information please contact Robert Loforte at 963-0642, or simply bring your horn and come sit in with us any Monday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. missing or outdated ad config
