The Mexico Farmers Market will run all Mondays in the month of August opening for sales at 3 PM and running until 7 PM. Local corn, tomatoes, zucchini, summer squash , green beans and blue berries top the list of wonderful selections to choose from. Local farmers and business people bring the market to the community as a means to showcase their wares. Monday July 26th the First United Methodist Church will offer “seed money” goods and crafts for share as the congregation continues to raise money for the ASAP project to install an elevette in the Church. MACS German students will offer a bake sale . Vendor space is still available for $10. The Mexico farmers market is cosponsored by the Greater Mexico Chamber of Commerce and the Lighthouse Church.
