OSWEGO COUNTY – Students at Mexico Middle School recently had the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities with CNY Adapted Sports, including a visit to the high school the week prior.
During the visit, students were introduced to a variety of adapted sports and equipment, including wheelchair basketball, adapted biking and sled hockey.
The experience provided a fun and engaging way for students to build awareness, develop new skills and explore inclusive recreational opportunities.
These visits were made possible through Arts in Education funding, supporting meaningful, real-world experiences for students across our schools.
