OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Health Department partners with the Food Bank of Central New York to offer mobile food pantries around the county every month.
The Oswego Alliance Church located at 371 Thompson Rd., Oswego hosts the next event from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23.
Bowens Corners United Methodist Church, 758 NYS Rte. 176, Fulton hosts the last event in August. It runs from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
Anyone in need of food assistance can attend a mobile food pantry to receive a free box of food. There are no income requirements for recipients; however, boxes are limited to one per household while supplies last.
Mobile food pantries are drive-thru events and people are asked to stay in their vehicles.
