PARISH – More than $200,000 in scholarships were awarded to this year’s seniors at Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District; the students were recognized at their annual Senior Awards Night.

Families, friends and guests were welcomed to hors d’oeuvres in the school’s gymnasium as a senior slideshow was played, pictures of the students as children to the seniors they are today.
At APW High School, it is custom for each senior to select a teacher or administrator that had a tremendous impact on their life during their time in high school to read and present their awards.
Coaches, math teachers, English teachers, club advisors and more proudly presented awards to each senior scholar.
Numerous prestigious awards were distributed during the ceremony, one of which was the APW Honor Graduate Award.

This award is given to students who achieved a 90 or above average all four years of high school. The recipients of this award will wear a medal in recognition during the graduation ceremonies.
12 students received the APW Dollars for Scholars Award, and for the first time ever, the scholarship amount awarded was $1,000 to each student.
“Congratulations to all of our seniors on a job well done,” said Michelle Crisafulli, APW High School Principal.
