More than a Dozen Restaurants Giving Thanks for OCO

Staff of Ji-Woo’s Korean Seoul Food, winners of the coveted Best Dish Award, serves up some spicy chicken and rice at last year’s Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) Giving Thanks Food and Beverage Pairing event. Guests sampled a variety of menu items and beverages from some of the area’s favorite restaurants, eateries and food trucks. FULTON  – Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) is welcoming more than a dozen restaurants and eateries to its annual Giving Thanks Food and Beverage Pairing event.

Guest will enjoy samples of menu favorites from some of the area’s most popular restaurants, eateries and food trucks. Each sample will be paired with a beverage, expertly chosen by a representative of Eagle Beverage, to enhance the tasting experience.

To be held November 14th at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, 26 East 1st Street in Oswego Giving Thanks serves as a fundraiser for OCO’s “Thrive In ‘25”, From Hardship to Hope” initiative, creating pathways to self-sufficiency and a stronger community for all.

To date more than a dozen restaurants, food trucks, and eateries will be offering a wide array delicacies including: Utica Street Greens from Canale’s Restaurant, Deconstructed Chocolate Mousse Pie from CiTi Culinary, Jethro’s Fire Beans from Driveway Inn, Chicken Caprese from the Eis House, Turkey Chili from GS Steamers, Sweet Beef, Spicy Chicken or Pork and Rice from Ji-Woo’s Korean Seoul Food, Sushi Rolls from Kiyomi Japanese Steak House, Nashville BBQ Pulled Pork and Mac & Cheese from Lakeview Lanes, Breads and Spreads from Mill House Market, Turkey Rolls from Mimi’s Drive-In, Pistachio Baklava from Tatlim Bakery, Pulled Pork Sliders from Texas Roadhouse, Mac & Cheese from The Press Box, Bagels and Cream Cheese from Riverwalk Bagel, Shrimp Cocktail from Uly’s Seafood, a menu favorite from Oompa Loompya’s,  and more.

We are grateful that so many restaurants are joining us for our Giving Thanks Food and Beverage Pairing,” said OCO Development Director Bridget Dolbear. “We’re looking forward to a fun night of excellent food and drink as well as live entertainment from Central New York favorite Cam Caruso and an Upcycled Art Auction featuring creative and unique items.”

OCO’s Giving Thanks Food and Beverage Paring serves as a vehicle to highlight the agency’s many programs and services and as a fundraiser to ensure that OCO will be able to maintain and continue to make these programs and services available.
