OSWEGO, NY – Proud Motorsports and 18-year-old driver Camden Proud will hold a chicken BBQ fundraiser on March 19 from noon until sold out at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego.
Proud Motorsports is a small-block supermodified team owned by Tim and Debbie Proud of Oswego.
Their son, Camden, a former USAC Quarter Midget driver and champion, is the 2014 Oswego Speedway Rookie of the Year winner; the youngest in history, and also the youngest heat winner and podium finisher in the history of the famed Oswego track. 
During the 2016 season at the Oswego Speedway, Proud had three heat wins; two podium finishes including a runner-up effort; as well as 10 top ten finishes in 12 total events.
He finished 6th in the point standings, just six points out of the top five with a career high 1,002 points. He also qualified for the Bud Light SBS Classic 75 with a career best lap of 18.780 seconds, which was the 4th fast out of 29 cars, and subsequently earned his first top ten in that event (7th place).
Chicken BBQ and pulled pork dinners will be available for a $10 donation.
Many door prizes and raffles will also be available at the event.
While pre-sale tickets have been on sale for several weeks, plenty of tickets will also be available at the door. Pre-sale dinner orders must be picked up a Lighthouse Lanes the day of the event by 2 p.m.
