Musical Performances To highlight St. Mary’s Parish Bazaar

OSWEGO, NY – Live performances from several of the area’s popular entertainers will add a festive atmosphere to St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church’s annual parish bazaar. Scheduled for July 15, 16, and 17 the bazaar will be held in the church parking lot at 103 W. Seventh St.

Kicking off the entertainment will be the unique musical stylings of Carol Fisher. Fisher, who also hosts a daily talk show on a Christian radio station that is heard throughout Central New York as well as the internet, will be the featured performer July 15 at the bazaar. She will be performing a variety of up-tempo songs from her eight albums, including the title song from her latest album, Anchor & Wings.

Hometown native, Sam Domicolo, returns home for a special performance on July 16 at the bazaar. Domicolo launched his music career in 1959 and has since entertained crowds throughout the country. He will be performing from 6 to 8 p.m.

On July 17, the Sounds of Brass will provide the entertainment for St. Mary’s bazaar. An energetic ensemble of brass and percussion, Sound of Brass is comprised of talented musicians from Central New York, who perform a wide variety of musical styles including; swing, Dixieland, polkas, patriotic tunes and other familiar favorites.

In addition to the live music, St. Mary’s bazaar will feature plenty of food, fun and games for the entire family including a cake booth, plant booth, kiddie Land, a 50 / 50 drawing and much more. St. Mary’s famous chicken barbecue will also be available each night.

The bazaar will run July 15 from 6 – 10 p.m., July 16 from 5 to 10 p.m. and July 17 from 4 to 9 p.m., with a rain date of July 18 from 5 – 9 p.m.
